Although we’ve all been complaining about the crappy weather this last month, now is the time to revel in the continuous perfect weather. Thirty two degrees every single day, all week and all of next week as well… oh boy… lets go scramble a couple summits in the Columbia Icefield! It’s the best time…

Therefore, we picked Sunwapta peak, with a summit of 3315m, thus 1735m elevation gain! What a good scramble… stay tolerant and patient… it’s a long one, although I still reached the summit in about three hours, what a beautiful view!  We chilled out at the top for about 3 hours!  Admiring Mount Alberta and the Athabasca Glacier from above… beautiful! The next day was a calling for Lake Edith, a chill out day starting with a trail run as usual… could we ask for more?!

Here are the shots as usual.. I’m getting an itch for that panoramic minolta of mine… it’s prefect for landscapes!

p.s. My new updated website will be up in about three weeks! Exciting!
